How do you become an investor? What makes good investments and how do you start an investment career? Join us for the exclusive opportunity to learn from the Growth and Private Equity team at GFC during a workshop and fireside chat!
During the workshop, you will learn about the best-in-class investment approaches across Venture Capital, Growth Equity and Private Equity and gain insights into the tools and tricks that successful investors apply across industries. Afterwards, a Q&A session will give you the chance to hear about the speakers’ professional paths into the investing and allow you to directly ask for advice on your own potential career in the industry. Selected attendees will also be invited for one-on-one conversations afterwards.
This event is suited for all Bachelor (>3rd semester) and Master students.
Attendees from GFC:
- Soheil Mirpour (Partner, Head of Growth & PE, COO): Right after his Bachelor at WHU, Soheil joined Rocket Internet as a Co-Founder and MD of Marketplaces in the Middle East. He then joined Morgan Stanley in Investment Banking before working at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) in London in their European Private Equity team, where he was part of multiple investments and deployed over $1bn in capital. He joined GFC in 2017.
- Alexandre Charlet and Erik Bittel are part of the Growth Team at GFC. Alexandre worked in Investment Banking at JP Morgan London and Rocket Internet Indonesia, he completed his studies at LBS and EDHEC. Erik previously worked at Arma Partners and Credit Suisse after studying at St.Gallen and Columbia University.
